For Meditation and Reflection:
The mission of the Centreville Immigration Forum (CIF) is to implement sustainable programs that provide immigrants in need with the means to improve their lives and become more integrated into the community; improve communication and cooperation among groups serving immigrants; and build community recognition of our strength in diversity.
Our vision is a community that provides acceptance and opportunity for all immigrants.
All of our programs include workers in leadership and decision-making and support the self-sufficiency of low-income immigrants.

Thoughts for the Day/Week
When the alien resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress the alien. The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God. – Leviticus 19:33-34
I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me… Just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me. – Matthew 25:31-46
